Hello world! I am currently sitting in my new place of residence that I will call my home for the next 5 weeks. We are indeed weary travelers at this point…it’s 2:20 am EST and currently 10:26 pm here in Anchorage with the sun still hovering in the sky. Weather is a cool 51 degrees or so with a lot of overcast. The flight in was amazing..tons of snow capped mountains to speak of. Our new place is well….ehh..it will do lol It’s basically an old dorm but with the right touches I’m sure it will begin to feel like home soon enough. Stephanie and I are going to unpack and call it a “night” soon! We have a full schedule tomorrow between grocery shopping, getting acquainted with our new surroundings and the 4th of July parade and fireworks tomorrow in downtown Anchorage! We are so tired but extremely thankful and at this point quite giddy to just be here :) Hopefully I will have some pictures to post on here tomorrow! yay!!!
